Grinding shop employee (m/f/x)

In the grinding shop, you will ensure that reproducible, reliable quality is produced from raw parts. You will safely process components of different sizes and materials according to the work plan and cycle specifications. In addition to grinding, polishing may also be part of the job, depending on the component.

You will inspect surfaces independently, carry out further sanding or reworking steps if necessary and ensure that the components meet the quality requirements after inspection. You recognize anomalies at an early stage, rectify simple causes independently and pass on faults. You document brief feedback in the ERP system. Tidiness, cleanliness and a structured workplace are a matter of course for you.

What you can expect:
  • Grinding and deburring components, polishing if necessary (depending on series and component, large quantities)
  • Visual inspection of the surfaces, reworking or sorting out if necessary
  • Fulfillment of time and quality specifications
  • Feedback/documentation in the ERP system
  • Order at the workplace; report abnormalities on the machine/tools at an early stage
  • Practical experience in production, ideally in the metal or grinding sector
  • Confident manual dexterity, great care and a constant understanding of quality
  • Independent, responsible way of working, even with a high workload
  • Strong commitment and clear demands on your own work
  • Active interest in improvements and the will to help shape them
  • They work neatly and safely – and report any abnormalities on the machine or tools at an early stage.
