High-quality hardware solutions
Indispensable technology
You rarely see our products, yet you encounter them every day. You use their functionality and touch them unconsciously. Good hardware technology is essential for the reliable functioning of doors, windows, and gates. We develop and manufacture all the components necessary for the reliable operation of sophisticated door, glass, and window technology. We advise on and supply hardware technology for use in conjunction with steel and aluminum profiles as a standard solution or custom-designed facade solutions.
The WSS Team
THE BEST POSSIBLE SOLUTION
From the product idea to the tested and certified product, our team works on the best possible solution, contributes the experience gained from many challenges and helps with the application through the qualified advice of a manufacturer of WSS technology. DEVELOPERS AND MANUFACTURERS
We are right in the middle of it.
As developers and manufacturers, we are familiar with our products, their technology, their application options and their interaction like no other. We bring this knowledge and diverse experience to bear in an advisory capacity when it comes to meeting the requirements of investors, building owners, planners, architects and general contractors on the one hand, and when system suppliers, fabricators, façade and metal constructors are involved on the other. Reliable technology for the best solution is the result of dialog with all decision-makers and WSS expertise.

Fire doors
Locks and fittings with this symbol are suitable for use in smoke and fire-resistant doors. The approvals of the system houses must be observed.
A fire-resistant door prevents the fire from spreading between fire protection sections. Fire-resistant doors are marked with a label indicating the tested resistance time. The qualitative differences are usually indicated in intervals: F15, F30, F60, F90, F120 and F240 minutes. The locks used in fire doors must have a corresponding suitability.
This symbol also identifies locks that are suitable for smoke protection.
DIN standards for emergency exit and panic doors
EN 179:
The panic locks with fixed knob and lever handle or lever handle on both sides for emergency exit doors are used in buildings where panic is unlikely to occur. People are familiar with the escape routes and the functions of the emergency exit doors.
Old standard:
Panic locks according to the old standard do not have CE marking and approval.
DIN standards for emergency exit and panic doors
EN 1125:
Panic locks with panic push bar or panic push bar handle are used in buildings where panic is likely to break out in a hazardous situation. People do not know how the escape doors work. In an emergency, a safe means of escape must be guaranteed, even under a given preload (pressure).
Old standard:
Panic locks according to the old standard do not have CE marking and approval.

The RAL quality seal is awarded to companies that meet the strict quality and testing requirements for their product or service. Compliance with the regulations is guaranteed after an initial inspection by regular internal and neutral external monitoring.
QM 328
Certified in accordance with EN 13126-8 and DIN EN 1191
To ensure the high quality standard of our products, we install the QM 328 certification program for the Standard and Style 180° series (far beyond the legal requirements for construction products). This involves carrying out production monitoring in the factory's own production control, including strength tests, testing of assemblies for dimensional accuracy, endurance tests, corrosion protection and much more. External monitoring is also carried out at regular intervals with samples taken from ongoing production.
Locks according to EN 12209
EN 12209 specifies requirements and test methods for the long-term functionality, strength, protective effect and mode of operation of mechanically operated locks and their striking plates. Locks in accordance with EN 12209 are typically used on doors, French windows and entrance doors.
