We offer various trainee positions, both commercial and technical, which will enable you to pursue a career in production, technology, finances, purchasing, material planning or sales.
We place great value on training and development, which is why we support training in the surrounding region, outside of our company. Our instructors are appointed by the IHK (chamber of commerce) in Düsseldorf as examiners for specific vocational occupations and in this way make an important contribution to quality training.

Health management at WSS
Protecting health is one of our priorities
Health days and health weeks are a regular feature at WSS.
In addition, we promote sporting activities, in particular through our e-bike leasing concept for getting to work.
WSS works together with various partners, for example, a fitness studio that offers reduced-rate membership for our employees and supports Health Management.
The many instances of support provided to staff by WSS Health Management for over 10 years now have been acknowledged with the award of the BGF/AOK Health Prize.
In 2017, WSS was awarded the Health Prize, together with one other Group of companies, from a group of 700 companies that operate a systematic health management concept in the workplace.
The decision of the jury was based partly on the systematic approach of WSS Health Management, its consistent implementation and the good collaboration also with external partners.

WSS offers e-bike leasing for staff
The initiative “Promote health, protect the environment” set up by the works council and the 'health" working group, has closely studied the options offered by e-bike leasing. WSS Health Management has added this module to the benefits on offer.
The works council and WSS management associate this WSS Health Management element with the expectation that more employees will discover the bike and use it for more exercise in the great outdoors. Also, that they will invest regularly in their health and, given the good connection between WSS and the network of cycle paths, that the number of sporty team members who want to leave the car at home and use the bike will increase. WSS built a monitored parking facility in 2018 for company e-bikes and bicycles.
Partnering with Fitness First
WSS partners with other companies, for example, the fitness studio “Fitness First”, which offers reduced-rate membership for our employees.
This is yet another way in which we help our employees to manage their health.
Staff at WSS can use the canteen which was renovated in 2017. Our extensive menu has something for everyone - be it breakfast or lunch, light or hearty, purchased or brought in - the choice is yours!
Our canteen not only cooks well but cooks healthy and tasty meals, supporting WSS Health Management!
