Apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/x) for our technical maintenance department

Start: August 2025

Mechatronics closely combines mechanics, electronics and IT. For the industrial manufacture of our sophisticated products, we rely on the best possible interlocking of the three disciplines using modern drive and control technology. Hydraulic, electromechanical and electropneumatic drive systems are combined with control and regulation circuits in order to make targeted use of advances in automation technology. You take a holistic view of production processes, understand the interrelationships and focus on the mechanical and control systems and their interaction in relation to the machine. You will check their functionality and safety, put systems into operation and ensure low-fault operation with your contribution.

This is what you can expect as part of your training:
  • Systematic training in production-relevant electrical engineering, hydraulics and pneumatics as well as electronics and IT for working with modern control technology
  • Carrying out functional and safety tests using various measuring and testing devices
  • Designing mechatronic system components and automation modules
  • Assembling, installing and configuring systems and supporting complex equipment
  • Maintenance and automation (e.g. use of robots) of operating equipment and control systems
  • High school diploma or completed technical college entrance qualification (vocational school)
  • Technical understanding, three-dimensional imagination, good manual skills
  • Enjoy practical work, initiative and team spirit
  • By the way: You are also welcome to join us if you have dropped out of university!
  • From day one, you will be part of a team with a high level of loyalty to the company and a long service record.
  • With us, you will receive training and development programs tailored to your needs.
  • Experienced team members who will pass on their knowledge to you and support you as equals.
  • Ideal chances of being taken on: Almost without exception, we offer our trainees a secure, permanent employment contract (98% takeover rate) and work with you to develop a perspective that suits you.
  • You work in the heart of the key region near the cities of Düsseldorf, Essen and Wuppertal.
