A secured and defined ventilation function for side-hung windows is usually achieved with a restricting element on the window.

WSS is breaking new ground with this new concept. The hardware components are arranged in such a way that the window can initially be opened to a pre-defined ventilation position of approx. 100 mm (Fig. 1) by means of a hold-open limiter in the turn position of the handle and locked in place by means of the handle. If the window is closed again, the existing coupling of the hold-open limiter in the tilt position can be overridden via a tilt-before-turn handle and the window can be opened completely (Fig. 2).

With the completely concealed latching hold-open limiter integrated into the fitting, WSS has now created a simple solution by combining and adapting existing components, which can be easily operated via the window handle.
