Apprenticeship tool mechanic (m/f/x)

Specialization in stamping and forming technology | Start: August 2025

Tool mechanics manufacture, maintain and repair precision tools for industrial production. They produce die-casting, injection molding, punching and forming tools as well as pressing and embossing dies according to technical drawings. In addition to the manual processing of various workpieces, they are able to program and operate CNC-controlled machines. The production of tools, the professional use of testing and measuring equipment, the processing of various metals and the retooling and setting up of our production machines are just as much a part of your job as the repair and optimization of existing tools. You will learn to understand operational production processes holistically and make an important contribution to the high quality of our products.

This is what you can expect as part of your training:
  • Creation, maintenance and repair of punching and forming tools according to technical drawings
  • Programming and operating various modern machine tools
  • Inspection and documentation of tool dimensions using testing and measuring equipment
  • Participation in resource, process and product-related improvement initiatives
  • Completed advanced technical college entrance qualification, vocational college or completed high school diploma
  • Good manual skills and strong 3D imagination
  • Enjoy a varied and practical job as well as initiative and team spirit
